Modern technology has allowed us to develop a briquette that has properties that far exceed that of firewood.  Our briquettes are designed for a stronger and longer burn, which is more cost-effective for you, reduces the need to tend the fire, and if the burner is set up right the briquettes can burn long into the night / early morning reducing the need to get up to add extra logs.
